Our story

It started with Bo.

Bo was my best friend's cat. When he got really, really sick, I funded his end-of-life care, euthanasia, and cremation costs. Losing him and seeing my friend go through that is what started all of this for me.

Today I'm in Farragut, TN caring for Wheezy, a rescue cat, with mentorship from Lynn Petter at Shangri-La Therapeutic Academy of Riding. We're documenting every step of building Bo's Legacy Sanctuary from $0 so no one has to face that choice alone.

Our mission

A legacy of love. A future of care.

Bo's Legacy Sanctuary will provide long-term care for animals with medical or behavioral needs who aren't adoptable through traditional shelters. It will also fund end-of-life, euthanasia, and cremation costs on a sliding scale for the public.
